LabCorp is one of the world's largest clinical laboratories pioneering in genomic testing and the commercialization of new diagnostic technologies. Multiple projects for Monsanto	Monsanto - Laboratory Renovations Mystic, CT Project Type: Construction Manager Completion Date: 2/12/2009 O,R&L Construction has continued an ongoing relationship for the agricultural company Monsanto through multiple projects: 2/2009 - Existing space renovated into lab space #212; 7/2008 - O,R&L Construction restored the exterior EIFS systems of the occupied laboratory facility in Mystic. Included in the restoration project was an interior lab space; 9/2007 - O,R&L Construction completed the building of two new tissue culture rooms; 12/2002 - Interior renovation work was completed. 	Connecticut Innovations New Haven,CT Project Type: Construction Manager Designers: Tecton Architects Contract Amount: 1.2M Completion Date: 10/30/2003 Renovation of 8,000 square feet at 25 Science Park, New Haven into a state-of-the-art incubator laboratory space. View of finished lab after Phase 1 renovation	Cellular Genomics Branford, CT Project Type: Construction Manager Designers: Svigals Associates, BVH Completion Date: 8/2/2002 This fast track project was Phase II of a laboratory and office fit-out for Cellular Genomics. Upon its completion, an additional 10,000 square feet was turned over to CGI to accommodate their rapid growth in novel gene research. Because CGI’s integrated proprietary technologies are designed to identify targets via the implementation of proprietary, high throughput drug screens, their technologies required infrastructure including specialized mechanical, electrical and HVAC systems. Specialized mechanical components included high-tech HVAC systems for use in a laboratory environment as well as individual neutralization tanks, autoclaves, centrifuges, and nitrogen tanks. The 5,000 square foot lab space required complete reconfiguration for the specialty, mechanical and electrical services required. Concurrently with the Cellular Genomics fit-out, Connecticut Innovations increased their contract with O,R&L to include an additional 11,000 square feet for Iconics, another bio-tech tenant at Science Park.
