South Windsor, CT: The Hartford HealthCare Family Health Center achieved LEED ( Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Certification. LEED is a rating system for the design, construction, operation and maintenance of sustainable buildings. This certification was awarded by the U.S. Green Building Council for the Medical Office Building’s sustainable design and construction practices.  The 16,000 square foot multi-tenant Medical Office Building’s design team consisted of O,R&L Construction (Design Builder), MBH Architecture (Architect), BVH Integrated Services (Mechanical Engineer), Michael Horton Associates (Structural Engineer) and LRC Group (Civil Engineer).
