Bob Mills joined OR&L Commercial in 2004 as a Commercial & Industrial Associate in the Norwalk office where he will be focusing his attentions on tenant representation activities in Fairfield County. Prior to joining OR&L, he spent 3 years as Director of Economic & Business Development for the New London Development Corporation where he was responsible for commercial development in the Fort Trumbull Development Project. Before NLDC, he was at The United Illuminating Company directing economic development, marketing services, commercial and industrial conservation programs and business development efforts.
Originally from Colorado, he relocated to Connecticut in 1980 and began his career of providing energy consulting services to Connecticut utilities. In 1984 he joined The United Illuminating Company to establish and manage conservation and load management programs for commercial and industrial customers. He has been professionally engaged in business, economic and community development since 1994.
Education
- Mr. Mills holds a Bachelor Degree in Environmental Science from Eastern Connecticut State University and a MBA from The University of New Haven.
